Ingredients:

1 cup strong black coffee
1 cup heavy cream
6-2/3 tablespoons unsalted butter

1-1/2 cups sugar
2 tsp vanilla

Cooking Instructions:

Combine coffee & cream

In heavy pan brown 1/2 butter with sugar, stir constantly

Add remaining butter, coffee mixture & vanilla

Cook to firm-ball stage (247? on candy thermometer)

Pour quickly in buttered tin or pan

Cool

Shape in small balls

Wrap with waxed paper or plastic wrap

Makes about 40 candies
