Ingredients:

2 c. sifted flour
2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. baking soda
1 t. salt

1 t. sugar
1/2 c. vegetable shortening (or Crisco butter flavor shortening sticks)
1 c. sour cream

Cooking Instructions:

Preheat oven to 450?

Sift together dry ingredients; cut in shortening until mixture resembles cornmeal

Add sour cream; mix to a soft dough

Turn out on well-floured surface. Knead about 1 minute

Roll dough 1/2" thick. Cut with round cutter dipped in flour and place on ungreased baking sheet

Bake 10-12 minutes or until a nice golden brown on top
