It was a sincere pleasure, dixie.

If anyone has a departed pet they want to pay tribute to, please post it here for all to share your love.

If you have a picture and you don't know how or can't get it posted, email it to me [ henry@pinecam.com ] or to any Mod so we can do it for you.

If after you have created your tribute you find that you'd like to add or change something, let one of us know and we can edit your post at any time.

Sebastian was Kitty Cat's "nanny" when she was tiny.
He was succeeded by several more active varieties of dogs but will always have a place in our hearts[/center]

He was a good and loyal family member who never seemed to get over the passing of his brother, <a href="http://www.pinecam.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=11801&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=murphy&start=0">Murphy, a year ago</a>.

In his old age, he was deaf and nearly blind by cataracts, and suffered from arthritis, but he bravely carried on. He will be missed dearly but I know he is over the Rainbow Bridge, running and playing with his best buddy, Murphy and waiting for me to join them someday.

The poem that I found when Murphy passed is a fitting tribute to my bud:

I lost my dearest friend today,
No finer could be found.
My love for you is utmost true,
It has no endless bound.
So hard to say,
"Good bye" to you,
Forever, trusting friend,
I'll keep you in my memories,
I promise till the end.

Thanks to Kim Anderson, DMV, for coming over and helping Charlie on his journey. Her visit kept him from spending his last few minutes in a car, unsure of where he was going. He was able to go peacefully in his home, where he felt our love.
