Bighorn Veterinary Service is seeking a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant. The practice is a long term established practice of 25+ years with a wonderful steady, stable client base, while continuing to add new clients. The clinic is located in the beautiful mountain community between Conifer and Bailey, Colorado. The practice is family owned and the care provided has an extremely personal touch. That is why our clients continue to be loyal and return again and again. It is mixed animal, with the greatest percentage being predominantly dogs and cats. Part-time position available with potential for full-time. Must be available every other Saturday, no Sunday hours.

Duties include interacting with clients and patients; collecting histories; assisting in exam rooms; animal restraint; filling prescriptions; performing in house laboratory work and diagnostic imaging; preparing surgical patients; assisting during surgeries; some scheduling and patient check-in and check-out. Additional technician duties based on experience.
