ADOPT A BARN CAT FROM FOOTHILLS ANIMAL SHELTER

The cats are in this program for a variety of reasons, including being too shy and fearful of people, preferring the company of horses or other animals, having litter box issues or having a history of living outdoors. Some cats in Working Whiskers are friendly and social with people, but just prefer a life outdoors. Others are less social, but are excellent mousers.

We provide our Working Whiskers cats everything they need to get off to a healthy start, including:

Screening for the best candidates
Spay or neuter surgery
A microchip
Initial vaccinations
In turn, we ask that you provide:

Safe and warm shelter in a barn, stable, outbuilding or warehouse
Daily food and water
Veterinary care when needed
A forever home!
