we could try to locate him if you are willing to give us information. i don't think they will let you post his name publicly, but you could send a PM to one of us with his name and type of work he does. Our network up here is pretty amazing and you'd be surprised at who we can find, including people, pets, cows, horses, etc.

If he has a cellphone there are ways to track the location of the phone through the gps system on the phone. You should be able to Google the way to do that for his phone but it may be a possibility if he isn't answering.

She said he apparently has not even had it turned on.
Normally the police will not have a cell carrier track position without a court order and the cell companies do not routinely do it. There essentially needs to be strong evidence of danger to the owner or holder of the phone. |

Agree with Rak... they can't just "ping" your phone unless they have an idea you are in danger, it's considered a violation of privacy.

Going back to my earlier comment, if you want to find him you need to hire a private investigator. You have plenty of information. I would think you know what he looks like and have a photo of him, you have his name, you have his age, you know what type of work he does, you know of some of his recent Longmont contacts. If you really want to get him found you can do it with a PI.

If she has access to the carrier of her husbands phone, she can get on line and see the activity with the phone, calls in and out, text messages in and out. I know that works for verizon, att and sprint (verizon), but not certain if cricket or t-mobile...EVEN if it is a pay as you go, you can see the calls and where they have originated. I would do that as well as contacting law enforcement.

I would appericate any help that is offered. And the cell phone is a dead end. I have tried all of that and can't get any info off of it. And as far as hiring a PI goes. Since there has been no change of address and I no dirvers license has not been changed they can't do much. Because I have already talked to one several times. And I am not rich they want at least a $500 dollar retainer and then it would be 100 an hour. And with me keeping a house here and it just being me I can't afford it. But it anyone wants to help you can pm me as I am new to this not sure how it works. And I do still have plans to move out there with our without him I just have to get everything together back her first. As I was the one who choose to move out there first but he just happened to find a great job out there which he turned around and quit.

and I don't think the phone he is using has gps on it. As it is an old cell phone. He does have a smart phone which is not active at this time.

In my opinion, you are underestimating the power of social networking. You would be amazed at the information that can be gleaned from internet searches and local forums. If you would PM what little info you have to someone as offered earlier in thsi thread, you might be surprised at the results. When you have few resources, you should make good use of what's offered.
