Pinecam.com is a website that includes a moderated forum dedicated to serving the members of our virtual community. While the site administrators and moderators of this forum will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible for them to review every message.

Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the author and not those of the Pinecam management or the Pinecam volunteers (except for posts by these persons as individuals) and these persons will not be held liable for the content of any post which they did not individually author.

Registering with Pinecam

When you register with Pinecam:

• Register under only one nickname (a single account)
• You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws or deemed to be disruptive to the general membership of the forums.
• Suspended or banned members may not register for another nickname (a new account).

General Posting Rules

The following are prohibited in all Pinecam forums:

• Spamming (sending emails or personal messages to numerous members).
• Shotgun posting (adding multiple copies of a post to different forums).
• Trolling (adding posts that are designed to distress members).
• Posting in a manner that is disrespectful of other users.
• Flaming or abusing users in any way.
• Requests for money to be given directly to an individual.
• Any post facilitating the use, the selling, or the procuring of marijuana in any form.
• Information, advertisement or recruitment for an organization or event that advocates or participates in violence or illegal acts.

When quoting copyrighted material (articles, webpages, newspapers, etc.) in any forum:

• Do not quote the entire content but 4 sentences at most,
• Always cite the source and include a URL, if applicable,
• And include at least one or two sentences explaining why you included the quote.

Forum Security and Privacy

• In an attempt to maintain the security and privacy of each Pinecam poster, NO personal information (legal name, residential address, telephone numbers, vehicle license plate numbers or identifying descriptions) shall be posted about another person, business, or entity unless said information is in the public domain (mass media, telephone yellow pages, newspaper advertising). Any sources should be cited.
  
• If any poster makes their own information available in the forums, said information may be re-posted to another forum and thread.
  
• The Pinecam Administrators and Moderators suggest using the Personal Message (PM) function instead of posting private information in a public venue such as the Pinecam forums. If such information is posted by anyone other than the owner of said information, it may be removed by the site administrators or moderators immediately and without notice.
  
• No person under the age of 18 shall post any phone/cell number, address or any other personal information, nor any personal website that contains such information, on Pinecam.

Offending Posts

If you read a post which you believe is in violation of the definitions given above for that particular forum, please do not respond by flaming or baiting, rather bring it to the attention of a member of the Moderator Team by pressing the "Report Offending Post to Pinecam Moderators" link. The Moderators will review each request and act if they believe that action is necessary.

Site Administrators and Moderators Actions

The site administrators and moderators of this forum have complete authority to remove, edit, move or lock any post or thread at their discretion and to remove duplicate posts and nicknames. The site administrators and moderators have the right to warn members who have violated Pinecam.com standards and/or suspend any member's account at any time for violating these Terms of Service.

All decisions of the site administrators/moderators are final and binding on the members of this forum.

  Neighbors Helping Neighbors is the main Pinecam forum for requesting assistance or helping a neighbor in our community.
