We have this in our downstairs. Pretty durable, adds some insulation and you can install it yourself pretty easily, so you would save any installation costs. There are some cheaper versions out there, though I do not know how well they hold up. https://www.greatmats.com/?gclid=CjwKCA ... U4QAvD_BwE
