| Ingredients: |
1 C peanut butter
1 C sugar
1 C light Karo syrup
6 cups Special K cereal
1 C semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 C butterscotch chips |

Instructions: |
In heavy saucepan, combine peanut butter, sugar and syrup. Over medium heat, stirring constantly, heat until sugar dissolves.
Remove from heat and add Special K, stirring gently but quickly.
Gently press into lightly-buttered 9x13" pan. Allow to cool (without
refrigerating).
In a double-boiler, slowly melt together the chocolate and butterscotch
chips, stirring gently. When completely melted (no more lumps), quickly
pour and spread over the bars.
Cut when cool. |
