Ingredients:

1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 T unsweetened cocoa
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup milk
1 T vegetable oil

1 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup sugar
2 T unsweetened cocoa
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup boiling water
4 cups vanilla ice cream

Cooking Instructions:

Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl, and stir well. Combine milk, oil, and vanilla; add to dry ingredients, and stir well. Spoon batter into a 9-inch square baking pan. Combine 1/3 cup sugar and next 2 ingredients. Sprinkle over batter. Pour 1-1/2 cups boiling water over batter. (Do not stir). Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched in center. Serve topped with ice cream.
