Camp out potatoes
Recipe Number: 1339
Contributor: Red Hat
Serves: 1 to ?
Calories Per Serving: many
Preparation Time: A few minutes
Difficulty: Easy
Ingredients:
Potatoes-scrubbed and sliced-1 to 10
onions-sliced or quartered and as many as you like
bacon-Cut each piece in 4 or 5 pieces, about 5 slices for every 4 or 5 potatoes

salt and peper, or any other seasoning you like
Cooking Instructions:
Wrap in a big foil bundle that is sort of flat, not fat or the heat will not get to the center as fast. Throw on the barbie, charcoal or gas for about a half hour, depends on how hot the fire is. You will probably have to check to see if they are done. The burny ones on the bottom are everyones favorites. It would be best to make a second bundle for serving more than 10 servings.
Serving Suggestions:
Put the foil bundle on the table, tear open the top and serve.
Additional Comments:
I suppose you could add any number of things to the bundle, such as polish sausage, hot dogs, other veggies. I think Italian sausage would get too greasy.>
